The USB2 Hub driver installs fine, then it tries to install something else and fails out.Īny thoughts? Reboots don't seem to be helping.ĮDIT: FIXED! Officially the silliest mistake yet. If the laptop is using 2 GPUs (the onboard and the Video Card) then it will not work for SteamVR and will give you a Compositor error. At last startup, USB gave us some trouble about not being able to install the drivers for the Spanner. I dont know if this is due to the beta update or not, but I was using my Vive just earlier today on the Beta branch and it was working normally. I'm guessing that "Invalid Adapter specified" is at the root of our troubles. This is my Vive as of today: 'Error: Shared IPC Compositor Connect Failed (306)'.
